Third was one of those places we just came across when we were out
exploring Scotland at the weekends. I had not heard of it before
even though it is not far from Falkirk and has been around for over 75
years.
This is one of the best views, we just walked up this trail that took
us through some woods and onto a set of cliffs that overlooked the lake,
just breath-taking..............

We quickly came to the opinion that this is one of the best walks we've
been to in Scotland.

This is what it looks like from the top of the cliffs on the pic above.

We came down from the cliffs at the other end of the reservoir just as
the sun was setting.

This is what the cliff-sides looked like when we were walking back
along the waterfront. Can you tell there was no wind at all.
