We went down the west coast looking for state parks that had
not been affected by Charley and found Oscar Scherer Park, which is just
south of Sarasota. Cooper thought their choice in lumberjacks was
excellent.

Well, it's been a week now since Charley came in and
interrupted all our lives. Unfortunately, it's taking Cooper's
favorite thing in the world away from him and that is his weekends at the
state parks. Even one of our favorites parks, Highlands Hammock was
closed

This is a pic from our latest State Park adventure, we went
up to see Fort Cooper. Cooper and Angus are watching a bird chattering
at them and still maintained a good sit. Gizmo was trying to see how
big his tongue was.

Here is the Cooper Dog posing away in Highlands Hammock State
Park. He's getting so good about just standing or sitting waiting for
his picture to be taken, I should really get serious about submitting his
pics to an agent.

We went down to Dunedin this weekend and had some fun
downtown visiting the craft fair and a shop that sold lots of stuff from
Scotland. Dunedin gets it's name from the old name for the capital of
Scotland, Edinburgh. That was where I used to live, so I've always
wanted to go here, and Coop said ok.
