 This is the nearest of the reserves to where we live and hence the first one we visited.  There are some beautiful trails here and some good opportunities to see wildlife, also some lakefront views.  It still seems like there is a lot of work going on, but I don't know if that's hurricane repairs or new trails being built.  It used to be a ranch and is one of the more recent acquisitions for the program and was certainly worth it.


This is us getting close to the lake front, you can see how the terrain has changed quite a bit, I like the parks that have diverse foliage and terrain.

And, of course, the Gizzy squirrel pic.  Gizmo was off lead for this pic, but anyone taking their dogs here for a walk better make sure that they keep them on leash as there are lots of gators down at the waterfront.  Gizzy went back on his retractable leash once he got down from the tree.
