This is a pic of the riverbank down near Punta Gorda, it was completely tore
up as every single tree was pushed over and the bank came up.
This is the national guard, still out in force a week later, helping get
fresh water and supplies to the victims.
Here's someone trying to enlist some help in clearing up the hurricane
damage. We saw a lot of large beautiful live oaks like
this....shame.
This is the little Celtic Pub in downtown Punta Gorda, telling everyone that
they never closed once because of the storm. There were two people
sitting outside havin' a beer and some lunch when we were down there.

south of Punta Gorda.
