This is me and Coop celebrating after just winning first prize at a dog show in Edinburgh last Sunday.  The competition was for the dog and the owner who most looked like each other, and we both had our redneck camo hats on which sure helped.  We also sat and posed in the same position and smiled together.  See below...........

What's New

Our favourite local park and the most scenic new park we have come across, Scotland has just some great places to go walkies in.

We've now got a page dedicated to Torwood Castle and Tappoch Broch, a historic site that a lot of people who live in the area don't know about.  We also go across to the Ochil hills on the other side of the Forth Valley.  One of our favourite hikes is up Alva Glen.......very picturesque.  Some of the best views that we've seen since coming to Scotland have been around and across Loch Lomond.

Cooper is my dog friend and he truly warrants his own site.  I met him in an animal shelter in Little Rock, AR, on 16 May 2002, he was about 3 months old and was looking for someone to help him out.  I was also looking for someone to help me out too, so we kinda did each other a favor and now he's my lifetime companion.
